- What were the social and political impacts of colonisation and how does one have to factor these in when discussing development and migration?
- Are former colonies still responsible for the countries they colonised?
- Should they be playing a larger role in the development of these regions and thus making migration less attractive?
- Given that there are currently large volumes of migration, should countries have immigration laws favouring those immigrants that come from their former colonies?
